Greetings, I’m Consuelo and welcome to the Writing Life Center. I love words and writing.
I am a Certified Creativity Coach and have studied with writer Eric Maisel. While attending summer sessions in 2002 at the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, California, I studied with Patricia Schneider, founder of Amherst Writers and Artists (AWA). In 2003 I was certified as an Amherst Writers & Artists Affiliate to lead workshops in the AWA method, as described in Writing Alone & With Others by Pat Schneider, Oxford University Press.
In 2004, I started working on the Internet and immediately learned web writing techniques, how to use SEO, self-publish, and other processes necessary to get my websites ranked. My extensive writing on women’s leadership led to a New York publisher contacting me to be published in their book. My popular book, ‘Business Women in the Bible” was my first publication on Kindle where I now have multiple products.
My writings have been published by Jossey Bass, New York, Peregrine Literary Magazine. Online, I’ve self-published through print-on-demand, Kindle, and various other formats. With my years of designing curriculum and teaching students to executives, I am an expert at helping you turn your ideas into lessons, programs, training courses, curriculum, books and other information products.
Creative Writing Workshops
If you also love writing, you’ll enjoy being a part of the Writing Life Center. We will write together using the AWA method to develop creative writing. The method understands that every person is a writer with a unique voice and style. In our writing session, each writer is fully supported in the process with feedback if desired that highlights what is strong and memorable, and never with criticism. Each writer decides to present their writing or not and confidentiality is respected in each session.
Online Content Development Workshops
I also provide workshop for writing online content. It might be time to write your ebook, print-on-demand book (POD), or Kindle product.
