AWA’s core belief is simple, every person is a writer with a unique voice to express. Workshops in the AWA method provide every writer, a safe environment in which to experiment, learn, and develop their craft.
I provide several Affinity Workshop that provide equitable opportunities for those whose voices have been marginalized, traumatized, or historically silenced. Writing together in a sanctuary environment provides a safe and accepting space to gain the confidence to share deeply hidden words that offer a gift to the writer and larger community when shared.

The AWA method, which is fully described in founder Pat Schneider’s book Writing Alone and With Others (Oxford University Press, 2003), provides just such an environment.
